Charlotte’s December 2020 Rental Property Market Update

The Charlotte rental market continues to show growth in the month of December.  December closed out with an average monthly rental price of $1584 per month. The number of leased units continues to grow, increasing year to date by over 9.9%. The Charlotte rental market continues to have limited inventory, showing a 42% decrease in active properties over the past year.  There is a great demand for rental properties in the Charlotte area and given the low inventory, we are often able to rent our properties for top dollar.
