Rebounding? Seems so. The Charlotte rental market continues to see growth month to month! While June shows less active listings, the number of units leased continues to rise, as does the monthly rental rate. May 2020 showed an average monthly rental rate of $1565 which was an increase from May 2019, June continued the uphill climb with rental rates increasing to $1624 per month. This increase can be contributed to supply and demand as the number of active units for the month of June dropped from 1082 properties in May, to only 989 and for June. The Charlotte real estate market is seeing a supply issue with rentals as well as properties for sale. The market is strong, renters are back out looking and ready to move, we are in need of more rental properties.
